In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.

The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an unique katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Titan-based attire for Yasuke
• Mikasa attire for Naoe

Third Free Story Update

This patch also adds the game's newest free story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
